Former Troop 125 member Ethan Farnes has invited us to help him out with his Eagle Scout project, and we're mighty glad for the service hours.

Ethan has volunteered to build shelves at Sand Creek Middle School. Some shelves will be used to house trophies, while others will be used to house the school's current and future rock collection.

Here's how the project works:

He needs volunteers two days this week: Tuesday, our regular Scout day, and Saturday.

Tuesday, volunteers are needed from about 5-8:30. Those of you who can meet early please gather at the church on Tiebreaker at 5 pm. You'll be given rides over to Sand Creek Middle School. Please bring a hammer and a snack.

Those of you unable to be there that early, a second wave will head over at about 7 pm. Gather at the church at the regular scout time. Also bring a hammer and a snack.

On Saturday, we'll meet at the church at 11 am, and then head over to the middle school. A meal will be provided.

If we play our cards right, we can use Ethan's project to complete the service hours we need for our next rank advancements.
